Evan Rachel Wood In Cincinnati

For a while now it's been big news around town that George Cloony was shooting scenes from his new movie Ides Of March in Cincinnati, Ohio particularly at Fountain Square downtown. Until today I hadn't really thought much of it until I came across these photos of Evan Rachel Wood! I was so excited to learn that she was in the movie and thus the area that when I learned they were most likely done filming in my area and had moved on to filming at Miami University I became really bummed out. I would have loved the opportunity to stalk Evan around Cincinnati! Seriously I adore her, she's my favorite actress and just an all around interesting person. Maybe another opportunity to meet her will present itself but most likely not!
Anyway she looks lovely and happy in these pics, back to rocking traditional blond locks and smiling around the super hot Ryan Gosling. One things for sure she's provided the interest I needed to follow the making of this movie!

True Blood Sucks

I've been a fan of this show since I learned that Alan Ball was behind it and the first two seasons which stuck strongly to the storyline of the Charlaine Harris novels were exciting and entertaining but as a whole I think season 3 sucked! It was lack luster and boring compared to season two. The third season strayed from the third Charlaine Harris book to such a disappointing degree that they royal screwed themselves out of a great storyline that spread through the rest of the series. Vampire Jessica was hardly around and when she was her storyline was typical and predictable. Sam evolved from the dependable good guy to a real asshole with a killer past. Eric had some of the best moments this season but his ever changing hairstyle is distracting and conflicts with things they've said about vampires. His hair was long then short now it's short and nearly brown. Jason is the one character they just won't let us figure out because they keep throwing him into crazy situations where he reacts differently almost like he's got a multiple personality disorder! As for Sookie what happened to the polite and proper girl we saw in season one? With her ever growing bad attitude and new found love of curse words they put her over the edge by dumping Russel's lovers melted insides down the drain and thenhaving her laugh a hauntingly evil laugh that made me wonder how much farther down this road the writers are going to take her. Don't even get me started on the weak and forgive my using the term "retarded" way they are portraying her Fae heritage. The best actor coming out of this show by far is the actress Tara played by Rutina Wesly. She has been the silver lining through out the whole season and the one character the writers have evolved and even tortured in a way I can appreciate and enjoy watching. She is one hell of an actress that deserves an Emmy for this season. I was however heartbroken to see her cut all that beautiful hair off before she left town in the finale. Overall season 3 is not one I'll be watching again on dvd. I'll tune into season 4 out of curiosity and hope that it'll be better. Also the fact Sookie now knows the truth about Bill I'm really looking forward to season Eric and Sookie's relationship heat up! This season needed more Evan Rachel Wood!!! She's great as the vicious and sometimes vulnerable Queen Sophie Ann. An just to beat this old drum one more time I hate seeing Anna Paquin with blond hair! She was just so much prettier as a brunette and I don't think I'll ever really like her blond it just doesn't suit her!

Alexander Skarsgard Jumps On The Model Rice Cake Wagon

Okay I realize my opinion may be influenced by jealousy but I really don't like this! Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood is dating Kate Bosworth and has been for some time but now that summer is here they have taken to parading their love all over the damn place! Forcing women and young girls everywhere that are not waifish thin and unnaturally blond to cry out... WHY???? Followed by Why can't I look like that? I find it depressing and typical for these vikings of men to be attracted to the thinnest, blondest and plainest of models once they become famous. When in reality then could be dating someone without the body of a pubescent boy! Maybe I'm going too far, I mean I liked Blue Crush when she was more than skin and bones and Wonderland was okay but really I just hate him being with anyone that's not Evan Rachel Wood... That being said they look bloody happy to be together :(
She better treat him well or actually don't... that way he can run back to ERW!

Evan Rachel Wood Engaged????!!!!

What? Since December 21st according to some reports! Why am I just hearing this now???? Wow!!! Wow!!! Wow!!! I actually think they make a cute couple but 22 is way young to be getting married, so it must be love mixed with lust to = marriage so soon!
The new Vanity Fair Hollywood issue... boring. The photo is so blah and honestly why are those 3 on the cover? Ok Carey Mulligan makes sense, she's a fresh face up for big awards... new talent. But half these people have been on the cover for this issue before and well even if all these girls were picked why did they put Kristen Stewart and Abby Cornish on the cover? Kristen can be rationalized cause of all the money New Moon made but why Abby? I think Carey Mulligan, Mia Wasikowska of Alice in Wonderland and also Anna Kendrick from Up in the Air and/or Amanda Seyfried for the cover shot would ahve been much better choices! Evan always deserves to be on the cover of everything because she's beyond talented and is always working on a new interesting movie. Somehow Vanity Fair got her age wrong in the issue listing her as being 24 when she's really 22! I do like that girl from Vicky Christina Barcelona however. I think the shot of them all dressed up looks more glamorous would have made for a better 3-page cover!

The Queen Has Arrived

Okay so I finally got around to watching the new episode of True Blood, "Frenzy" and while the episode in general did not disappoint I was a little disappointed with the storyline and dialog written for Evan Rachel Wood as Queen Sophie-Anne. I mean come on, you have a major talent on your hands and all you can do with her is give her a character that's a total cliche? The cussing and sexual innuendos sounded more like a unevolved teenage girl than an unevolved vampire queen. I expected a little more class. Woods performance in general was great and her acting ability certainly made her scenes genuine enough but ultimately I think it was the writers that failed her character and the fans! I did like the twist with her lover being Sookies cousin, which was actually quiet clever and I thought the Yahtzee game thing was just hilarious. Still they could have gone deeper and developed her character more, hopefully in the third season they'll find the time to do that. The episode as a whole was great and the cliff hangers as usual have me beyond anxious for the finale but If I know True Blood then I really don't see a hell of a lot of closure in the next episode, which means in two weeks all us True Blood fans might be faced with the biggest and baddest cliff hanger yet! Ahh if onlt our emotions did work like this ^

All That We See Or Seem

~Is But A Dream Within A Dream~
Thanks to http://slackerchic.blogspot.com for turning me on to Flaunt magazine and the lovely photo shoot they did with Evan Rachel Wood for their August issue! I'm in complete awe of Evan, she's a phenomenal actress and I can't say that enough because of all the jealous haters! Watch the link below for an adorable and insightful video shot at the cover shoot:

When I watched the clip I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Poe tattoo she has on her back was from one of my most beloved Poe poems and that the specific verse she had tattooed was MY favorite as well. For a brief moment I felt as if we were truly kindred spirits! Lame I know but what can I say... I'm just a straight chick with understandable admiration and unexplainable girl crush on Evan Rachel Wood and well It made my day!

Spilling True Blood

Season two has been so bad ass and keeps getting better and better! I love and hate the cliffhangers every week, they leave me wanting so much more but it makes 7 days feel like torture! Evan Rachel Wood joined the cast, woo hoo! My favorite characters on the show are Tara, I'm so happy her character is evolving into a less stereotypical role and that she's finding temporary happiness.
Lafayette not sure about the spelling but his character is SO awesome and boy can he act!
Jason, who is beyond adorable and I just think it's such a riot that of all the charcters on the show he's the one that's been "Saved" And finally Jessica! When she was acting a spoiled mess I loved to hate her but now that we've seen her softer side I love to love her! She's one of only a few new cast member that I'd like to see on the show forever! I just love Hoyt too he's an undercover hottie!
Sookie's character in general tends to annoy me but I think Anna Paquin is great on the show I can't wait for her to dump boring old bill for Eric. She looks so different with blond hair but I think she looks better brunette...

I've Died and Gone To Heaven

I've been addicted to true blood for some time now, I saw the first episode when it first aired and then didn't see the rest of the season till around the time the finale aired. Since then I've seen all of season one twice now and the second season is only getting bigger and better, with the cliff hangers leaving me more and more on the edge of my seat. Then today I got on ew.com to check out some comic-con links and I discovered that my favorite actress and girl crush Evan Rachel Wood was joining the cast for at least two episodes and I almost died and went to heaven from my excitement, it's like taking two of my favorite things and mixing them together so perfectly it doesn't seem real. I love that Evan is consistently choosing interesting and creative acting projects, you just don't know what this girl will do next... all you know is it's bound to be brilliant. Alan Ball the True Blood creator has me as a fan for life due to his other creation that IS the best show in the history of Dramatic Television: Six Feet Under. To this day I feel it is the only show that has ever ended in a significant way that gave it's dedicated audience a proper burial so to speak. I related more so than I care to mention with the character of Claire Fisher and the show will forever hold a place in my heart. Okay back to True Blood, Alan Ball is a genius and him casting Evan Rachel Wood on the show proves it. It's going to be absolute torture having to wait each week until her debut on the show and lord knows what I'll do when the seasons over. All I know is this is the best news I've gotten since I found out my diploma was in the mail!
These are some beautiful shots of Evan form what I believe is Blackbook magazines August 2009 cover shoot with the 21 year old starlet. I for one love her Gothic princess look, and think she is the only actress working today that I can say I loved every movie she's ever made, excluding Little Secrets but lets be honest it still wasn't that bad. I also read in the article that she loves Edgar Allen Poe and has a verse of his tattooed on her back. All the more reason to bow down to the best actress of my generation!

Why sleep when you can be annoyed?

Okay so there is some kind of construction going on outside my building and I swear to god the sounds coming from outside sound like bowl movements, and crying cows! It's been off and on the last 30 minutes, it's crazy! I couldn't sleep so I turned on Electric Feel and danced myself outta bed! Checked my myspace which I had neglected for a few weeks and forgot all about this little superpoke pet I got that I have to like bathe and feed daily and the poor thing was covered in flies. So every time someone went to my page they saw my little baby tiger Karima (my name from French class) sitting in a pile of poo being swarmed by flies... I also put up some photos and commented my friend Kelli whom I haven't seen in like 10 months! To this day she's the only friend I could ever tolerate to see on a daily basis for a long period of time and that was in high school, god did we do some crazy shit! I hate keeping up with myspace cause you have to message everyone back and it takes forever and when you forget to message someone back and then remember a few weeks later they ignore you plus every single guy who wants to add you as a friend has to ask you out and when you tell you don't hook up with people you meet online they treat you like a bitch and block you! I might just delete my account one of these days but I like to make my page look pretty lol. (My first lol in 5 blogs, that's good cause I'm trying to cut down! and replace it with Ha!) Now I'm IM'n with my friend Ellen so I'll leave ya with some pretty pics of clothes I would love to ware!
I love Evan's style! I would totaly ware these two above dresses, If I could aford them!

My prom dress, that's not me this is the picture that was online of it, I love this dress but have only worn it once, not much use for a prom dress pre-high school...

For shits and giggles love that chelsea handler and chuy!

Keep Your Coins...

Haven't been able to sleep, so I've been writing. I keep a little notebook with me in my purse, so where ever I am I can write down a lyric or a thought I don't want to forget. Every week or so when I change my purse I'll go through it and look at the things I've written. Long ago before I wanted to be an artist I wanted to be a journalist and a writer. Problem was I'd start writing something on my own and get bored half way through and start writing something else until I was about half way through... My writing is something I never seem to finish. Poems and songs are different though... not sure why maybe cause they're shorter and focus mostly on one subject. I had a really crazy semi-erotic dream the other night and when i woke up I could only remember bits and pieces of it, then through out the day more parts started to come back so I decided to write it all down and before I knew it I had a 9 page long extremely rough draft to what could be a short story or the next big action movie! My dilemma now is to make the time and effort to really finish it. It's kind of exciting in a way starting something new but I get so distracted and I paint and make things every single day so I almost feel like I'll be giving things up in exchange for writing. So I have to work out a way to do both. I also just figured out how to upload a picture to my heading on my blog. After about 20 different photo's I settled for a graffiti picture on the side of a building with an open door, trouble is you can't read my blog title and description so now I've got to find a different picture or else I'll go crazy over that imperfection!
Now is as good a time as any to mention one of my biggest celebrity obsessions! Evan Rachel Wood. I've been a fan since her once and again days but most of you will remember her from Thirteen or Across The Universe. She's an exceptional actress and oh so beautiful! Every time she cries in a movie I cry... I recommend Running With Scissors, Pretty persuasion and The Life Before Her Eyes. She dated Manson, which I didn't think was all that odd and if I ever run into Perez Hilton I'll have a few choice words for him in regards to the wicked nick name he gave her. Perez has so many double standards though, he licks the ground Brangelina walks on even though they hooked up while Brad was married to Jen... and yet he calls Evan a home wrecker? Err don't get me started! Any way she's a lovely young actress, so haters just shove it!
