I'm a visual person and on the homepage alone there are so many amazing pieces of art and photography and fashion that you want to click on 10 things at once. This is a website that's a huge source of inspiration to me as it connects me with beautiful things I wouldn't see anywhere else. trendland.net Trendland is all about fabulous forms of art. The illustrations and photography they feature showcase some of the most beautiful and emotional art I've ever come across. The whole website is focused on interesting forms of art and expression. This is another website I go to when I'm looking for new inspiration and I want to be swept away into someone else's vision of the world. It's a brilliant website. trendhunter.com Not to be confused with the link above trendhunter is a website/online magazine where High Fashion meets High Art. This website showcases so many creative artist and photographers it's insane. I've come across many posts that lead me to artists that soon became my favorites because of this website and I can always find something here that I want to share on my blog.recycleart.org They don't post as much as I'd like but they give me great ideas for art projects and they feature some really unique art and artist that I'd never come across anywhere else. bristol-street-art.co.uk I love me some graffiti and this is my favorite website dedicated to street art. So this was a taste of my favorite art websites. These are places where I find most of the pictures and artwork I post on here to share with whom ever stumbles upon it. I don't always link to ever source every time as I like to link the viewer directly to that artists website so that they can get more fans and inspire more people. Yet without these websites myself and a vast amount of other people would never come across half the beautiful images we've seen!

Morgan Booth Art
The past few weeks I've come across so many incredible artists. This is the kind of art that inspires me to paint. That inspires to be more creative. Morgan Booth's work make me think of graffiti, street art, abstract realities and science fiction. Definitely one of my new favorite artist.

Marion Bolognesi Makes Eyes So Pretty They Bleed!
Are you In Love yet? I was after I saw these pictures. I remember reading somewhere that females are more likely to be drawn to particular shapes like hearts, stars, circles and that they're prone to notice the lips and eyes first on a person and I think that's true. What I like about these watercolor paintings is that they seem so fantastically feminine with each painting reminding me of a runny flower or butterfly, like each photo is of a teary eyed girl running from a masquerade ball. But what I really see in these photos makes me wonder which part of these watercolors painting is the real mask. So beautiful and mysterious, Marion Bolognesi paints the masks we wear everyday that are constantly slipping and exploding with color. I love art! An she does kinda remind me of Joshua Petker my FAVORITE artist!Check more of here work out at:

Lost Love By Syd Brak
I've had this picture in my head for at least 10 years. When I was just a little girl my Aunt Theresa had a giant picture of this hanging up in her house and I never forgot it. Somewhere between the last 10-12 year she lost it but we've both always remembered it and thanks to Bing I finally found a picture of it online! I'm so excited to show her. This is a image I've never forgotten, I'm not really sure why but it had a strong effect on me when I was younger and I'm thrilled I can see it hung up again!Tuesday, November 30, 2010
Artist of the Month: Russ Mills
A few months ago, probably longer I came across a really cool photo like these of a girl who appeared to be flipping her hair back, it was all black, white and red. I remember loving that photo so much I printed it and added it to a collage of cool art and images that inspire me. I never knew who the artist was. Well after I saw these photos and read a little article that came with them It made me wonder if Russ Mills was the same artist, so I did a search and sure enough that photo I fell in love with a while back is by Russ Mills! I'm mesmerized and entranced by these photos that have a Rorschach inkblot feel to them in the blurred and frenzied movements created by Mills. I'm so thrilled to see his work and follow his career now so that I can fall deep into the mysteries of every piece! Check out more Russ Mills art here:

Art That Makes You SWOON
She goes by Swoon in the art world but her real name is Caledonia Curry and I was surprised to lean that these images are of wheatpaste (I have no idea what that is) prints and cut outs. I'm really not sure how or what she does to get these results but it's stunning and thoughtful with a bit of a wild outlaw graffiti style. I couldn't find an all swoon website but this link will show you more of her work.

Two recent incidence involving my blog have brought my attention to something that maybe wasn't crystal clear in some of my previous posts. My main focus with this blog is to share my interest and fascination with all forms of art. In some of my earlier posts I would just post one photo or a series of photos that I found online and I would title that post with whatever the art brought to my mind and I often times didn't know who the artist of these photos were and I wouldn't go to great lengths to find out. I still do posts like this where I'll do a search for photos where I have a theme in mind like say skull graffiti and then I put all my favorite pictures on my blog to share with whoever reads it.
I have never claimed to own any photos or artwork that I did not make myself.
I am an artist but I rarely post my own artwork on this blog and every time I have, I've stated very clearly that it was my work. So everytime I post pictures of art and I don't say "this is my work" then it's not my work! I chose to use this blog to share art that inspires me & If I discover an artist that I particularly love I will post links to their website and links to other blogs that show their work. I don't do this with every photo I post because most photos online are not listed by the person who took them or created them.
So just to make sure it is now crystal clear most the art shown on this blog is NOT mine. It is art by various artist that I like and admire. I mention the artist of said artwork when I know who the artist is. When I do post my own art on this blog I mention in the post that It's my work.

Sandrine Boulet's Art Humor
The highlight of my day thus far has been stumbling upon the art of Sandrine Boulet. It's so creative and hilarious. Things we see and pass everyday are turned into living expressions of life and madness. Her work is so cool!
