I've Died and Gone To Heaven

I've been addicted to true blood for some time now, I saw the first episode when it first aired and then didn't see the rest of the season till around the time the finale aired. Since then I've seen all of season one twice now and the second season is only getting bigger and better, with the cliff hangers leaving me more and more on the edge of my seat. Then today I got on ew.com to check out some comic-con links and I discovered that my favorite actress and girl crush Evan Rachel Wood was joining the cast for at least two episodes and I almost died and went to heaven from my excitement, it's like taking two of my favorite things and mixing them together so perfectly it doesn't seem real. I love that Evan is consistently choosing interesting and creative acting projects, you just don't know what this girl will do next... all you know is it's bound to be brilliant. Alan Ball the True Blood creator has me as a fan for life due to his other creation that IS the best show in the history of Dramatic Television: Six Feet Under. To this day I feel it is the only show that has ever ended in a significant way that gave it's dedicated audience a proper burial so to speak. I related more so than I care to mention with the character of Claire Fisher and the show will forever hold a place in my heart. Okay back to True Blood, Alan Ball is a genius and him casting Evan Rachel Wood on the show proves it. It's going to be absolute torture having to wait each week until her debut on the show and lord knows what I'll do when the seasons over. All I know is this is the best news I've gotten since I found out my diploma was in the mail!

I for one love her Gothic princess look, and think she is the only actress working today that I can say I loved every movie she's ever made, excluding Little Secrets but lets be honest it still wasn't that bad. I also read in the article that she loves Edgar Allen Poe and has a verse of his tattooed on her back. All the more reason to bow down to the best actress of my generation!

Her Words Are Blinding

I can not recomend her music enough. Every once and awhile an artist comes along that moves me beyond words and tears. I've never been as inspired by an artist as I am by the music of Florence and the Machine. Her voice is that of a tortured angel and her lyrics are disarming and heartbreaking. I almost can't bare the beauty of her music and I hope those than read this post will take the time to listen to the music provided in the youtube clip, it is but a taste of her magic!

Whip It Out... But Not Till October

So A Wicked Awesome new movie is coming out in October 2009 called Whip It! It's Directed by Drew Barrymore staring Ellen Page and it's about kick ass roller derby girls! Eye Tell Ya, Some People

Some people... Ugh I'm still boiling with rage over some crap that went down today. What can you do? Some people are just ignorant and disrespectful and there will never be anything you can do except fume and let karma handle the rest! It just really gets under my skin when people are so narcissistic and selfish that all the want to hear or care to hear is the sound of their own voice! Err... I'm the type of person that respects everyone, unless you give me a reason not too. If you don't show me respect, I'm not showing you respect. When someone threatens me and tries to intimidate me it just makes me all the more devoted and aggressive about my cause! Since this is a public blog I don't want to get too into details cause It might come back to haunt me, lets just say I asked someone in a managers position a few completely reasonable questions about something very important and all I got were lies, threats and disrespect. I guess my questions were too big for someone with so few brain cells and that after pretending to hear me talk for all of 2 minutes, she so desperately needed to hear her own voice again that she blatantly threatened to abuse her powers of management and fuck up my life. Well believe me after than I put her in her place but in a appropriate, respectful manner while still getting my point across because unlike some people I'm able to be remain mature and calm when faced with a conflict. Of course later she acted all sweet as pie and tried to make nice but I already know she's as fake as a spray on tan! Ugh some people should really not be allowed to work with others.

Any way... I've been editing some close up shots of my eyes recently and these two photos are the fruit of my effort. It's no masterpiece but it's something to do when I'm bored.

My Real Addiction

Okay I never admit this but... I'm addicted to The Real World on MTV. I know, I KNOW! Good or bad, New York or L.A. It's a guilty pleasure of mine. Sadly though I've never been really attracted to a guy on the show (Okay Dave from Hollywood was kinda hot). They just normally go for the same types of guys season after season but not THIS season! Meet Joey the sexy bartender/bass player/tattoo artist/UFO believer/and all around piece of real world meat! He's the main reason I'll be watch every week opposed to skipping a few weeks and then watching all the episodes in one night. The girls on this season aside from Jonna are so annoying especially Emilee, I hope she goes home over any of the other girls cause she's the most boring and just blah of the group. Anyway my secret is out! An Joey is hot!

Reflection Tuesday

Our 4th of July feast! An this was only what we grilled! I'm still full and a little hung over from that night! We did get a free firework show from the houses behind us, it was pretty awesome! Me on the left with my cousin Mandy early in the day!

Above is a recipe I found on rachelray.com (I think) and I made it for the first time this past Saturday and it was Amazing! It was so good and easy to make.
