The Cure
Most likely their most popular song ever! It's not my favorite song by them but it's a good one. I can name like a dozen couples current and former who had this song as "their song". It's sweet but I've always preferred songs like lullaby and the forest to this. Maybe because it's just so well known and covered and over played but it's a song everyone can relate too...

Hide & Seek
It's frustrating trying to find yourself... like playing hide and seek and having to do both. While trying to elude what's chasing you; your in pursuit of something as well. My passion for art, in all it's forms seems to flicker like a flame though it's much more durable that fire, I still find myself unsure and wavering on what to do with my need to create and how to grow from it. Millions of people want to be and a lot of them are; artists. What makes a successful artist? This is something that been debated forever I'm sure and I know in my heart of hearts it's being proud and satisfied with your own work and using your own vision to complete yourself. Still I wish that were enough to satisfy me but by golly I want the glory too! So I guess my real question is what makes a happy artist? I've always been creative and I've been keeping sketch books since I could draw a stick figure. Yet I went 18 years of my life being passionate about something else entirely. It wasn't until I lost my ability to see the world as I'd been taught, that my heart and soul switched over into another realm of possibilities. Since then I've been awakened to a different view, a realist with a flair for color and constant questions. I'm an artist because it's out of my control, I broke through the glass and used my bloody wounds to paint myself a new beginning. That was the easy part. Now I'm creating my way through my early twenties in search of happiness, success and myself. Thank god for mp3's they really are the soundtracks to our lives and a good selection makes for a better movie!

Color Between The Lies
Darkness has it's moments,
But nothing is ever as vivid or as magical as color!
The world around us holds many secrets and tells many lies.
In between it all explosions of color connect us to each other,
& the world that lives just beyond our eyes...

Best Dressed Divas
Chloe Sevigyn dressed to perfection as always. My favorite dress at the Emmy's hands down! I just love it, Leighton Meester got everything right from the red lips and clutch to the gold cuffs and swept up locks! It's beyond lovely. The best Sandra Oh has EVER looked!
The best dressed Diva was hands down Miley Cyrus. Her dress was drop dead gorgeous. I want it for myself, although I couldn't rock the backless look anywhere near as good as she did! I'm kinda starting to come around and actually like this girl! Or at least her stylist! And is it just me or did Jordin Sparks loose like 50lbs? Any way she looks amazing!I adore Kelly Clarkson and she is my favorite Diva of the bunch and as a big girl I'm all for extra curves but she's looking a little too Rachel ray/Lisa Marie Presley in the face... maybe her teeth were swollen or something!Dear sweet Adele, I love your classic style and we all know black is slimming but please add some color to your wardrobe! Either way all these lovely Divas were my favorite and best dressed of the night both at the Emmy's and VH1 Divas!

Artist of the Month: Greno89
Meet my new favorite artist! I don't know much about him other than he has mad skills and lives in South Korea. He's a fellow deviant artist although with much more talent than myself and a large number of other members! Greno89 is only 19 years old! I'm amazed by his creativity and talent and his way of making these painting and drawings look more like digital art, when in fact it's all traditional work! Check out more of his work here: http://greno89.deviantart.com

Shakespeare's Dictionary
I just read the most amazing thing! In all my English classes and after all the endless book reports and required reading material handed down by teachers for 12 years of schooling I never was told that William Shakespeare was responsible for creating 2,000 words in the English language! How ever did this happen? I was reading up on the Tudor period at think link: http://www.the-tudors.org.uk/tudor-alphabet.htm and apparently when Mr. Shakespeare was looking for a word to describe a particular feeling and couldn't find one he would simply make a word up for it! It's hard to imagine such a creative and intuitive soul like his looking like the above picture! I personally like to think he was more like the character depicted in Shakespeare In LoveSome of the words He created were:
Accused, Addiction, Amazement, Arouse, Assassinate, Champion, Compromise, Critic, Dawn, Elbow, Excitement, Exposure, Generous, Gossip, Impartial, Label, Lonely, Luggage, Negotiate, Obscene, Premeditated, Torture, Worthless... to name a few!
Amazing!

Amore Del Potro
Tonight I watched along with the rest of the world as the 20 year old Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina beat the worlds number one tennis player Roger Federer. An oh what a game it was! Going into the 5th set I just had a feeling that I'm sure was shared by millions of other viewers, that Del Potro was going to win. I think it was a little before 8 when the score was 2/0 and I could just tell that something had got to Federer. Lets be honest he did not play his best game and the sexy Juan Martin Del Potro took full advantage. I love watching men's tennis and sadly this particular match was not as full of the manly ball hitting grunts I've come to know and love but it was a great game none the less. Del Potro won I think 1.84 million dollars and a car! At 6'6' and 182 lbs and only 20 years old this is his first US Open win. I'm 20 years old's myself and well damn that's one hell of a accomplishment!

Lovely Bones
I've been waiting for this movie for like 2-3 years now. The book is one of a kind, so beautifully written. I think, I hope it will be an amazing movie.Saoirse Ronan is the perfect Susie Salmon! She was amazing and beyond her years in Atonement. The rest of the cast looks good too but the most important character in the story is Susie and I don't think any other actress would have met my expectations for this movie. The trailer looks exquisite. The world Susie Salmon becomes apart of after her murder is something so sensitive to the readers imagination and from the look of the trailer it looks very enchanting and magical with just the right amount of effects. I highly recommend this book by Alice Sebold it's not a novel you will soon forget after reading and it's not an entirely depressive book it's also about family, growing up, faith, hope... It's just an amazing book!
